What are you using as output for these devices right now?

Windows let you select different outputs with the right-click on the sound icon on the task bar.

It's useful if you have a lot of different audio outputs listed such as USB DACs, HDMI, headphone jack, etc.

I almost treat my gear in the same way.

Iems for detail/working at the office or commuting

Headphones when working at home and need to focus, also when I want a intimate listen and just want to focus in music

Speakers when want just to have that closest feeling of listening to music as in a live concert, soundstage is just unmatched by headphones. My only concern with speakers atm is that I just got a class D amp and an inadequate room (for now)

Edit: formating

Tbf timbre matters a lot, especially if you need one headphone to listen for hours while working/studying. Also reliability is a thing, and hd 600 it's pretty good on that, just a great all-rounder with a inoffensive timbre

I'm not saying that they're endgame for everyone, at least it's not for me, I still want to risk a Focal Clear or an Hifiman Arya someday. But they can surely be an endgame or have its place in anyone's collection

That's really great to hear :) I'll probably visit Sennheiser showroom next week and give them a try, looks exactly what I'm looking for

As for the DAC/amp, I've got the Loxjie A30 (mostly for my passive speakers) and a Tempotec Sonata III, but planning to get a Topping L30II/E30II or the Topping DX3 in near future

Thank you so much for your response :)
