Not really. If that was the case then everything would naturally flatten and level over time.

See the OPs comment. It is coming from other work performed.

Also, where exactly are you wanting the water to discharge?

Where is the sediment coming from? It is not falling out of the sky. It looks like the same material that is used for the current “drain”.

If it is not working, dig it up and replace with some of the premade PVC French drain pipe.

A utility wont be that shallow. Low voltage has different requirements.

Looks like the wrong door. Only option to keep the door is to build out wall to match.

I replaced an air gap with a high loop into a disposal. No issues since.

Gives you more flexibility to put the brackets right where you need them and allows for more contact points.

No, the brackets will attach to the 1x2 as well. For the parts where the brackets are you add a piece of 1x2 going north to south. This also gives a bigger footing for the bracket.

That will work, but I would run a 1x2 around the walls to give a lip for the play wood to rest on. 3/4” can be used as subfloor with a joist span of 24”, so you should be fine with the weight you are planning.

I would never use something like that for a cabinet. Toggle bolts at a minimum. Personally, I would mount 1x4 strips into studs, then mount cabinet to those, then trim out the gap.

From all the posts here it sounds like you are more interested in justifying your mistake instead of learning the way to do. You have a custom application and need a custom solution and do not have the skill set it seems.

Drywall should be attached to studs, right? Or are your saying that there are no studs?

I would take off that baseboard and cut out some of that Sheetrock to investigate. That window is probably leaking.

I also think this is a terrible idea. Just trading one frustration for another.

Needs to be high enough so the water does not pool by the house. Grades don’t have to be drastic to shed water. I would make it slightly higher than that walkway in the picture. If you have low spots in the yard you may want to think about a drainage channel. Yard work is easy, but time consuming.

Hmm, if that is the case, that corner with the driveway needs a catch basin and the drain should follow that natural drainage line in the grass.
