My pup’s internist (from Friendship Animal Hospital) suggested we go to this dental place in Gaithersburg too. They deal with only canine dental issues so they are very on top of all types of scenarios that can happen. He suggested this over just dental work at a normal vet office because my dog is a senior with bad teeth. He said that a lot of times older dogs when they have their teeth pulled they break apart and depending on the severity, this isn’t something you want a general vet to deal with.

Being that my dog is old, I showed concern about having her go through it and he told me that he gets his dogs dental work done there too and think they do a great job and it’s what they do all day everyday.

We haven’t scheduled it yet because of some other things that have come up but when we do we will be taking her there.

Is this a case of, ~~mY FrEedUms~~? The power you hold on deciding someone’s wages? If they look at you a little funny, do you deduct from them? If they make a mistake are you deducting from the tip? Have you ever made a mistake at work? Do they deduct from your salary?

You literally admit you’d leave 20% anyways. These threads and this mandatory tip outrage in this subreddit are getting so old. Two of the top three posts are about this. You guys would complain if there were no service workers willing to work and no bustling city full of good places to eat and then also complain about paying mandatory tips.

That scheme sounds exactly the way DoorDash was withholding full tips from their drivers and boosting their own bottom lines. DC did successfully sue them for it. Wow, if Shyndigz is still doing that, it is so wrong.

> settlement with DoorDash, Inc., a food delivery service, requiring it to pay $2.5 million to resolve allegations that it misled D.C. consumers and used tips left for workers to boost the company’s bottom line. …

> the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) alleged that from 2017 until 2019, DoorDash misled consumers to believe that their tips would increase worker pay, when, in fact, tips were used to subsidize DoorDash’s payments to its workers.

(Emphasis is mine)

People who are mad about auto-grats at 20% or whatever are flat out cheap. They feel they have the power to short change a worker and decide based on their performance what they deserve. I’m positive those same people are not performing at 100% at their office jobs or whatever salaried job they’re at, all of the time. Those same complainers make mistakes, they have bad days, but they’re not getting shorted on their salaries for things like that. But when a server or tipped worker, does something “wrong”, it’s totally acceptable to these cheapskates to dock their pay.

So when people are mad about auto gratuities, they’re just flat out cheap/have power issues.

I agree with all your points, and adding to it a majority of the cars we get into, the screen is broken so there is no adjusting the media or anything. We have a Zipcar account too and are much happier with it BUT like you said, it’s miles cheaper for the same amount of time in a F2M. We are pretty done with F2M as well but just wished there were more options. We were big big fans of Car2Go and still sad that they left. It was generally a much better service and it was so easy to find a tiny parking spot to get into.

Free2Move has become so dirty. I don’t ever recall their cars being as sticky, dirty, overall gross as it has been this past year. Also a lot more cars just smell like smoke. I’ve also noticed fewer cars on the map. We used to be within a five min walk of a car whenever we needed it and within the past few months, there are hardly any cars within a 15m walk of us.
