Reply to Ruth Marie Terry of Tennessee ID'd as 'Lady of the Dunes': New info in 1974 MA cold case by Puzzleworth
I wish there was more info in the article on Ruth Marie Terry. Was she ever reported missing? Did she have family actively looking for her, and are any still alive? Time to Google.
Edit: here's an NBC article with a little more information. She was a mother and an aunt, chances are there is still surviving family around. I hope this brings them a bit of peace.

It would be considered bias intimidation in New Jersey at the very least.
>In the past, N.J.S.A. § 2C:16-1(a)(3) held that a person was guilty of bias intimidation, or committing a hate crime, if the victim of the crime “reasonably believed that either that (a) the offense was committed with a purpose to intimidate the victim… because of race, color, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, or ethnicity, or (b) the victim or the victim’s property was selected to be the target of the offense because of the victim’s race, color, religion,” and so forth.
