It’s pretty safe at that location. One block down glenwood could get a little sketchy but not dangerous.

I had a friend who lived at 300 about 40 years ago and it was kind of sketchy there then; haven't been back since. I'd suggest walking around during the day and times you will be walking there if you move in.
