It very well might? Israel has been planning to hit Iran for years to stop in nuclear program. We have come very close to now or never moment.

I have no doubt they have the capacity and will to do it, likely with Saudi and American tacit support if not outright approval.

Dangerous decade we are in.

I am very concerned that these attacks were opening salvos of an Israel/Iran war, but I think Israel is really just pressing the advantages they currently have:

Significant global focus on Ukraine (less available focus on Israel)

Iran criticized for supplying drones to Russia

Iran experiencing continued unrest internally

Happens every two weeks for the past 9 years. I live in Lebanon and we hear the jets fly over us since most israeli jet attacks start from israel then fly over lebanon and shoot from lebanese airspace since damascus in 1hr away from the lebanese border.
