Russia doesn't seem to understand that in many other countries, journalists aren't controlled by the state. They've had censorship for so long, they forget what freedom of speech is.

Though more likely they know the above full well, and still say things that aren't true as part of their information war on the west.

The Tories have made all the relevant appointments for the last decade. The BBC is almost completely beholden to the party by now.
