The best way to get students to watch something is by telling them they can't watch it.

Wow, did you think of this all by yourself?

Magnitudes more effort than your response for sure. Belittling others invalidates anything your are trying to say.

I didn't really care about the documentary before.

.. but now seeing how desperately they're trying to bury it, I'll have to watch it.

Nobody fights that hard against something that has no weight to it.

It's not like Indians don't know what a bigoted mass murdering piece of shit their PM is.
For most BJP voters that was the best feature. Not sure why the Indian government is trying so hard to censor it.

That's true. I am sure Rishi Sunak and Biden will just come out and protect their buddy. The west needs India a lot now.

I hate saying it, but you're probably painfully right. When Biden fistbumped the murderous Crown Prince MBS -- a shocking show of "diplomacy" and abandonment of principles re: the DISMEMBERMENT ALIVE of American journalist Jamal Kashoggi, just to secure some oil for the U.S. in crisis -- I could hardly believe my eyes.

Streisand effect

>The Streisand effect is the way attempts to hide, remove, or censor information can lead to the unintended consequence of increasing awareness of that information. It is named after American singer and actress Barbra Streisand, whose attempt to suppress the California Coastal Records Project's photograph of her cliff-top residence in Malibu, California, taken to document California coastal erosion, inadvertently drew greater attention to the photograph in 2003.
