Industrial Corporations & military/Intel bureaus pay people to influence social media impact... Both groups maintain or contract employees to run multiple accounts for this & they also have web crawlers & bot farms that help.... Twitter recently had hundreds of millions of accounts purged from their platform for participating in this.... but it's been done slowly over the last decade to all social media. Certainly here.

Tl;dr on the article, complaining that Ukraine won't drop Ukrainian language requirements for minority groups nor give them special legislative representation. Some examples are...
- an independent e.g. Romanian newspaper can't operate out of Ukraine without publishing everything in both Ukrainian and Romanian, and the Ukrainian government won't sponsor the translation for them just so they can meet the requirement
- a Ukrainian village that happens to be largely e.g. Romanian speaking can't fully convert everything to Romanian without also including Ukrainian, the country's language--even after a local government vote to do so
- an e.g. Romanian minority group does not get legal priority when considering other legislation, nor gets its own special legislative representation
All this is not quite in the spirit of full proactive support for freedom of speech, but it's a very far cry from anything authoritarian or discriminatory. Replace Romanian with Russian in the examples, and I think the problem with the asks becomes immediately obvious.

“Authoritarian” is a meaningless designation in a vacuum, it can range from 8pm bedtimes for children all the way to ethnic cleansing.
It is reasonable to use government control to help salvage a nation under threat. Pragmatism, not idealism, will save Ukraine.

There never needed to be any war. If NATO had allowed Ukraine to simply follow the 2014 Minsk Agreements, but Ukraine had disregarded & collasped them by 2015 at the behest of the Council On Foreign Relations & Threats to withhold funding (Ukraine's govt has long run on other countries money - supposedly)
Again, I have no interest in finding middle ground with stupid people like you, who have not looked into the actions & policies & sources of funding, actions, & policies that brought about & escalated this conflict.
