Looting is part of the business model of the Russian Army, along with grift, torture, and the murder of civilians. Will the west only supply and fund the war instead of taking action?

I can only assume they have admitted to themselves that they won't be able to hold Severodonetsk much longer.

These actions, if they lead to a mass casualty event, DO QUALIFY as usage of a weapon of mass destruction.

Wiki article on the plant.

Being employed in the chemical industry, I'm very annoyed when articles fail to include what chemical infrastructure produces.

It looks like this one produced a lot of nitrogen fertilizers, some basic 1- and 2-carbon commodity chemicals, and VAM at least. Some other sources are suggesting other commodity chemicals precursors such as caprolactam

It appears the Cherkasy plant makes caprolactam, not Sievierodonetsk

According to Ukraine's head of the armed forces, Ukraine most needs non-escalatory armoured vehicles, not intervention from NATO. They have the will and the people to fight, but are held back by the lack of equipment to conduct offensives in an intelligent way (so, not using thousands of people as cannon fodder against defensive lines like the Russians).

Supplying and funding is an action and far from insignificant. It has allowed Ukraine to conduct meaningful offensive operations these last few months and recapture a ton of territory. NATO getting involved directly will lead to WW3, and it's completely unnecessary as Ukraine is managing the war effectively. Send more arms.

Ukraine has shown that they have the skill and the spirit to defeat Russia without direct intervention from NATO as long as they're supplied with weapons and equipment. NATO intervention would probably lead to a nuclear exchange anyway.

Exactly, as much as we all would like to think we could steamroll The Russia a war with NATO would definitely see the usage of Nukes, mass death and destruction and utter cataclysm, it would trigger events across the globe as power vacuums were created and super powers distracted, wars would break out everywhere, China at Taiwan, Israel and Iran in a hot war, Pakistan and India and could possibly end civilization we know it.

Ukraine is suffering, but they are winning at this point, just keep the money and arms flowing, they got this.

This is what Russians do. This is what they always did. Anything they say should not and cannot be trusted. For their mentality in any agreement is to be a scammer or to be scammed. And if they end up being scammed than the way they think is, if I am fucked then I will make sure you get fucked too. Forget thinking that Putin is at fault, the Russians are fucked, lying and untrustworthy fucks. Even if you encounter a seemingly nice one , if push comes to shove they will do anything to fuck you up.

If NATO entered the equation with a hot war the Russian would lose ground so quickly I couldn't imagine them not attempting Nuclear Strikes in some form.

Even if they get one or two strikes they will kill millions in a second.

Calling that fear mongering and ignorance is pretty astonishing frankly it's called the reality we live in...

That's because, in your ignorance, you don't realize that Russia's nuclear deterrent isn't in any better shape than their conventional one.

>Calling that fear mongering and ignorance is pretty astonishing frankly it's called the reality we live in...

No, that's the reality from FORTY years ago. Not only do current nuclear weapons not generate the same kinds of radioactive fallout anymore, but the Russians may not even have a functional nuclear arsenal anymore at all.

The USA has already warned Russia what will happen if they use even a small tactical device in Ukraine.

In other words, you're peddling PUTIN's fearmongering agenda here and I'm calling you out on it.

So, either you are ignorant or you're a Putin stooge. Which is it? Because you honestly are decades out of date on this topic.

Wait, you don't think it's bluff-calling?🤭

>Fearmongering drivel

Which part? What are the chances you are wrong, and what are the consequences of that? What happens when you are 10% wrong? Where are you getting this information about the condition of weapons? What would be the greater consequences of the conflict if you are right? What would be the greater consequences of the conflict if you are wrong? What's the longue duree?

This isn't a gotcha. This are the super basic critical questions. Making an association between calls to think and fear is more of a self-own than anything else

Edit: The self-own bit was prophetic. Look at the fear of questions and fragile hubris on display. What kind of idiot would say "I have the information on my profile" and then block? 0% chance you were telling the truth
