Being employed in the chemical industry, I'm very annoyed when articles fail to include what chemical infrastructure produces.
It looks like this one produced a lot of nitrogen fertilizers, some basic 1- and 2-carbon commodity chemicals, and VAM at least. Some other sources are suggesting other commodity chemicals precursors such as caprolactam
It appears the Cherkasy plant makes caprolactam, not Sievierodonetsk

Used to work near an Azot plant. They do indeed produce nitrogen based fertilisers.

As I understand it there's already a fertilizer shortage, so destroying plants that produce them is uh... Not great for global food production.
