Agreed. I also (a Brit living in the UK) was astonished by these supposed arch social conservatives, these "Canada firsters". NOT putting Canada first.

I guess they want Xi style lockdowns after all lol

They've never been "Canada first" they've always been "Me and how I think things should be done first", like conservatives have always been. They don't give a shit about their communities or their nation, if they did they would care about the society we're making for the generations to come.
