Good luck and best wishes to anyone brave enough to protest in China. Please stay safe. Fuck the CCP.

> Chinese police have barricaded a street in Shanghai where protesters have gathered for the last two nights in anticipation of further rallies against the government's rigid zero-Covid policies.
> Gatherings held to protest or to mourn the victims were held in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and other major Chinese cities on Saturday and Sunday, as well as dozens of university campuses, with some police clashes and detentions in Shanghai.
> Online discussion of the protests has been strictly censored, particularly on social media platforms such as Weibo, but information and evidence of the protests are still being shared on more private channels like WeChat.

Worldwide, countries are using police and the army to suppress the protests. I wonder how our voices will be heard when the govt is always ready to torture or murder us with the help of police and the army.

If govts are not flexible with the demands of the people then it will lead to a bloody revolution like what is happening in Iran.

Isnât this what any country does? Not sure why itâs headline news
Will soon be illegal to protest in my country (UK) so thatâll be fun
Cobbertson t1_iy7khrg wrote
I doubt the UK has the resources to enforce any kind of ban on protest, when even countries built on militarized control aren't able to.
It would be a great opportunity to try out the wide variety of tactics being used in more authoritarian countries, such as holding up blank pieces of paper, using silent salutes, or intentionally farting next to government officials

You have to be a full on CCP apologist to suggest they extend China goes to stop protesters is âwhat any country doesâ. China is currently now tracking down protesters and threatening them. UK has freedom of protests, China will send you to prison for holding up a white paper.

So you're saying it will be illegal to just simply go outside with a poster to protest? And the UK is every country as well?
All countries do have some limitations on protest -- but come on, you are seriously a CCP apologist to suggest UK and every other country is on par with China on their limits of protest/assembly.
