This is interesting. Hadn't heard of this. Do have a link to read up on? I know of Indian soldiers fighting the Ottomans in ww1 are you referring to that?

Idk much about creation of Israel but I have heard Battle of Haifa was very important

Errrr... The Battle of Haifa happened in 1918. Israel's independence came about in 1948. I think you got your wires slightly crossed.
