Turkey is a dictatorship. They have arrested thousands in the last couple of years in an effort to prosecute freedom of expression and thought. They will never be on par with Western nations and their ideals, at least for several decades.

Even as NATO allies they are just a liability. Kick them out until they learn to respect basic human freedoms

Man, your whole profile is reeking obsessiveness against anything Turkey or Turkish. Whenever there's a mention of Turkey, there you are. And it seems like you're a Greek. This is the exact reason why you can't afford kicking Turkey out of NATO. It would make you a target. No no. Don't compare yourself to Ukrainians. Ukrainian soldiers had 8 years of combat experience and good logistic network. Given that your soldiers doesn't even have body armor/optics in 2022 should make you scared alone because your soldiers won't get up on their feet when they get shot, or see the enemy when they need to. Mountains won't help you. Turks have been fighting in the mountains for nearly 4 decades. They also have a good drone fleet which helps. You don't. Help of others wouldn't save you either because you have a very small country with no good logistical network. Not to mention, it takes time to establish these logistics. US had a good 6 month hiccup during Iraq War because their body armor plates were depleted. It took them additional 3 months to re-equip their soldiers. Think, dude, think. Nationalism is blurring your rational thinking.

Yes we are obsessed with violations of human rights, encroaching on another nation's sovereign territory and any other despicable behaviour. It is called Western ideals which originated together with freedom of speech and freedom of expression in Greece. Those ideals were later adopted by European nations. It is called being decent towards others, no matter the hard choices.

Sometimes the hardest road and choice is the morally correct one, although not the most profitable

When someone acts like a bully and makes warmongering threats, they will be called out. People who don't want to be ostracized need to correct their behaviour or put up with being called out.

I'd really like to take you serious but your whole comment history is about lurking on anything Turkey.

It would make much more sense if Greece was keeping to their own ideals though. Whatever Greeks have created is already evolved and current Greece isn't keeping up. I don't know if this is something to be proud of. If not so, why the corruption or your nationalist obsession? Can you give me a solid answer to this one instead of nationalist jerk-off copy pastas? What is the difference of this to "wE wUz KaNgS and ShiT" jerk? Anyways dude, make all the wrong choices for yourself in your Pollianna worldview. If something is not profitable, then it isn't even right. Then what is the point of current world politics. Why do Ukraine and Russia war right now? I think it would make the best outcome for your unsuspecting countrymen, just like it did for Russians.
