Let's hope it won't spread as much as it was spreading some years ago.

So, what happens if there is another 2014 type of situation?

Some thing I remember from 2014: 1. Somebody who might have been infected with Ebola, goes out bowling, but nothing bad came of it, thank god. 2. Somebody who had ebola, ended up taking an airplane flight, but I think that person had no symptoms at the time, so that person did not pass it on to anybody, as Ebola, unlike COVID, cannot spread with no symptoms. 3. Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey having somebody quarintined, and there was a big bruhaha over that. 4. The midterms featuring the Republicans getting people jinned up over Ebola, and might have caused the Republicans to take the Senate.

I have a friend who then was renting a house which backed onto the Royal Free Hospital in London. They share a perimeter wall. Distinctly remember there being a few British nationals quarantined there. At least one was a soldier who'd been serving in Sierra Leone if I recall correctly.
My friend, not the scientific or - let's be honest - sensible type was losing her mind. There was a bit of panic about.
