Kherson could be bait, encouraging Ukrainian soldiers and equipment to gather round.

Then the reserves in Belarus could sweep in and surround them, trapped into fighting 2 fronts.

Or massive bombing.

Be very careful. Be ready to zero out the Belarus threat. Retain reinforcements and plan breakout and exit strategies.

Not sure how they leave Belarus and somehow contest the opposite side they enter. Belarus will have no bearing on the south. The only gain attacking from Belarus is proximity to Kyiv and cutting Western supply routes.

They don't have the forces to do either as of writing this.
