I used to play all the time. When I was 18, I thought I was a prodigy. I was pretty damn good. But was so scared to play in front of anyone. Then I went to college and playing went down the pisser. I still play now and then, but I can't play like I used too. Amazing what 8 years of not playing and trying to pick it back up really shows. Especially given my job has beat my hands and fingers pretty good. But yeah, I can bring that too I suppose.

I started at 14 I think and really never stopped. Though now I'm more interested in repairing and modifying them. I just fucking love everything about guitars. So much fun.

I started at 10. Was never a typical learner. Most people learned with chords and scales and such. I learned by sound. Taught myself. Would listen to a song over and over and memorize the notes through sound and would duplicate it. Took a long time to learn about different tuning, and when I found that out, it blew the door off the hinges for me. At 15, I could play the entire BFMV EP album. Then, I started learning atreyu, and so on. Loved anything in drop c cause it just was such a crunchy, deep sound and that was what I loved. I got to a point where I started writing my own tabs and stuff, but never got around to finding people who'd wanna watch me play or play along with me. I did have a guy I worked with when I was in college right before I stopped playing that invited me over once and we jammed in his garage and he told me to play lead for a song and after that, I never played in front of any one again. Dude was blown away though. He showed me some stuff though. Well, explained standard things to me I never grasped though. Truly a cool experience. I'll DM you though, this is world news and we are getting carried away lol
