If that happens, then I hope the west consumers make a dedicated effort to avoid using/buying all chinese goods and services.

The profit selling to Russia wouldn't be a tiny fraction of 1% of the money made selling to the west. To risk that is insane.

Their economy is not an independent one at all, they heavily rely on trade, specifically trade with America and with their economy already receding this would be stupid for them to do.

That is actually not as easy as it sounds.

Maybe they’re calculating that the west will sanction anyway after they get more aggressive in the South China Sea.. so they sell drones to at least weaken/split up the west’s resources by bugging them down in Europe.
