If you want to take her to nice DC restaurants like Albi (linked below) then be sure to reserve in advance.

Some museums like the Air & Space museum, the Zoo, the Washington Monument, etc. require free timed entry tickets that you'll need to book in advance. The Spy Museum, popular for kids, requires paid tickets.

Yes! She is enjoying new foods in last few months so sight seeing and food, rest and repeat is our plan.
So far we plan on Smithsonian(s), a Nationals’ game, the Mall and unsure of rest. Probably Capital or Arlington.
