Got two questions for my fellow citizens out there!

#1: Storage spaces: when storing things for an indefinite period (say 3-12 months), what are the most important things to consider, do and know? Anything about theft? Mold? Anything?

#2: Sleep Clinics: anyone have experience in DC with these? What happens? Best clinics? Worst? Things to know? Bonus points for women in menopause with sleep issues (60-75% have severe insomnia that is written off as psychological problems).

Thank you!

Storage space - as in renting a storage unit? If so, it'd be what you're storing - do you need climate control; and then second, location of the unit within the facility - i have one now, and wanted a CC (indoor) ground floor unit - didn't want to deal with elevators.

I did not like the GW Center for Sleep Disorders. I could hear the employees who stayed overnight to watch us talking through the door/wall which made it harder to fall asleep. It also had a hospital vibe and a shared bathroom.

The Neurology Center's sleep clinic in Bethesda was much better. Quiet and felt like a hotel with a more comfortable bed and private bathroom in the room.

I got climate control but 1st floor. There's a couple antique heirloom furniture pieces (very heavy!) and I felt like that extra floor was a bit more of a deterrent, in case theft is an issue in these places! I have no idea!
