“Nonprofit” is a pretty broad thing. It’s like saying you want to work for a corporation, and asking whether there are any corporations hiring at the moment.
What are your actual skills? What issues are you interested in, and do you have professional experience working on those issues? Political or non-political? Entry level, or something above that? What do you do now?

I worked as a Youth Program Coordinator at a dv organization back in 2018 and since then I have also worked as a Research Coordinator at a university for Medical Marijuana Research. Have about 10 plus years of experience in the sector because I was working through college. I had to take a break for about a year break since middle of 2020 for personal reasons, but I happen to work as a recruiting coordinator for a short period. I applied to many jobs both in the recruiting world (not a good time, I know), and the non-profit sector and I am not hearing back. I am not working currently.

Depending on the department you’re applying to, end of year is fundraising season and those folks probably don’t have time to hire and run their campaigns. With Ukraine I know AIUSA was busy, perhaps give them a look: https://www.amnestyusa.org/careers/ and with your history I would check out NORML too https://norml.org/norml-internships/
