This may be basic and I'm sure there's more "local" options but I can vouch for Tatte Tiramisu.
Rose Ave Bakery has good Asian inspired donuts/pastries/desserts! I really like their black sesame swirl cookie and their Vietnamese iced coffee is amazing
Also tried out Sharbat recently, it’s a bakery with desserts from Azerbaijan. Their cakes are super good, not too sweet which is nice.
Sfoglina gelato soft serve is fucking delicious.

Google says they're permanently closed. Do you know if that's the case?
Hoji-cha pudding from Sushi Taro
Charred Bannna dessert thing from Seven Reason
Wegmans Fruit Tart, I’m a slut for them
their halva brownies are amazing too!
Can’t go wrong with Un Je Ne Sais Quoi
Chocoflan at Taqueria Xochi.
Oh wow- shows how long it’s been since I’ve been, lol. Looks like it was rebranded as “Lutece” in the same location in Georgetown.
If you want a real event that is dessert-focused, Gravitas does a "Dessert for Dinner" prix fixe menu that is life-changing (very expensive, but an unforgettable experience)
