Hey folks, anyone know what happened to the Sport Clips in Columbus Heights or if they'll reopen? I was there in October, and google now says "temporarily closed" while the website says "permanently closed until further notice" as of 10/22. They seemed to be dealing with some water damage when I was there.

Assuming they're off the table, any recommendations for a decent, reasonably priced haircut for a guy? I don't need anything complicated. Dupont/Logan/Columbia Heights/Adams Morgan/Shaw areas preferred.

It’s a bit far, but I go to Tenlytown Barbers, I’m in and out in 20 minutes.

Woodley Hair Style in Woodley Park. I think it's $25 for a men's hair cut. I go there all the time. When I moved to Columbia Heights, I went to the Sport Clips and got the worst hair cut I ever had, so I still go back to Woodley Hair Style.

Alex’s and Melissa’s or Mount Pleasant Salon in Mt P are all solid

Diego's Hair Salon is where I've been going for the last decade. Diego, now dead, was a fixture of the area. Solid haircuts, $30, best to make an appointment.

Nearby, Alex’s Unisex Hair Salon is great, especially for the price. I haven’t been since just before the pandemic (I moved to a different neighborhood), but in 2019, men’s cuts were $17 pre-tip and the quality was solid. They have locations in Mount Pleasant (which is where I went) and on 14th up sort of close to Red Derby.
