Yes I know how to use google thanks. I was hoping for insight from DC residents who may make that trip semi regularly about things that Google can’t tell you like which buses tend to actually run on time and which don’t. Won’t make that mistake again.

It was the "Are there any Amtrak or VRE trains that go early Saturday as well?" in particular that made your question seem very, "is this the Google?"

it’s a relatively short trip with DC as an end stop for both rail and bus. you shouldn’t have problems with timeliness with either, barring bussing during rush hour.

I would have lead with this.

That being said, I have a buddy who lives down there and he does both the bus and Amtrak. For him it is which ever is cheeper and works with his schedule.
