I’d highly recommend Montgomery College’s Driver’s ed course. Offered at their Silver Spring/Takoma location, accessible via the downtown silver spring metro. Affordable and good quality (my instructor used to be a road test examiner). Is oriented for the MVA, but lots of overlap with DC laws so I don’t think that’s an issue. https://www.montgomerycollege.edu/workforce-development-continuing-education/transportation-safety/drivers-ed.html

And good luck! Being scared is part of the process (and frankly better than being overly arrogant on the road). :)

Driver improvement courses is exactly what i’m looking for! Thanks! Just need supervised experience behind the wheel. Exposure therapy if you will haha. Where does the driver take you? Driving in maryland is actually a good place considering the long winded roads and local suburb/ highways

Ok this was a while ago, but I know we went on the beltway and 270. Plus then a bunch of local roads around silver spring. Definitely highway driving. Almost no one-way skinny streets that you can run into in DC.

I’m set to start classes with Ethiostar in December. Can’t speak for quality yet but price was reasonable.
