I'm a former midwesterner but have family in upstate New York. I've found myself craving a good halfmoon cookie. I've seen them sold in stores (like Streets), but does anyone know of any bakeries that make them?

They don’t have real half moons outside of upstate. People try and push “black and white cookies” but they aren’t the same thing!

Last I checked Holland Farms will ship them though.

There was a bakery in Utica that used to have the best half moons, forget the name though. Look to the cookie!
