Because of the airplane crash in Gaithersburg last night, MCPS lost power for several hours and schools are closed today. So instead of a 50 min commute to work after Thanksgiving break, I have one extra day to recover before teaching tomorrow!

I took the metro from Dulles yesterday. Was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Plus with the weekend fares, just $2 which is so much better than what it would have cost to get an uber in yesterdays rain.

I visited a craft fair and plant nursery over the weekend. I got my new little plant babies and planters all situated this morning, and they bring me so much joy!
