They’re all logistical nightmares. I don’t know how much luggage you have but if it’s not a whole lot, taking the Metro may be easier, it goes right up to the airport.
I'd take the Metro. Avoid the parking bullshit.
Dawg, take the metro.
Never heard of this airport.
spothero.com works. Depending on your flight times and how much baggage you have, I'd definitely consider Metro though.

Agree spothero. Surrounding hotels have daily parking for like $15 or something but then you have to cab over.
Lots of people saying take the metro on here, and it could be good, but if you don't live near a metro station or have to tote around kids, bags, other stuff, that would be rough. But yes, if it's just you (and maybe another adult) with a single bag (each), metro is likely the best option if you live reasonably close to it.
If you live close, might be good to taxi/lyft/uber as well. Or if the above would suit you minus distance to a station, maybe taxi/lyft/uber to a station and go from there.
Unfortunately DCA doesn't seem to have any good offsite parking outside some hotels that might offer it.
It's really hard to know what's good for you since we don't know who/what you're traveling with and where you live.
IMO, driving/parking at DCA is the logistical nightmare - metro in is the solution
Could you not take taxi/ride service. Wouldn’t it be cheaper and easier. And even if slightly more expensive (don’t know how far you love), it’s certainly easier.
The hotels close to DCA offer valet parking for $10-$15/day and you can use the hotel shuttles to get to and from the airport.
