Is Vida in Logan Circle worth the price? It’s about a 10 min walk from where I live and seems to have good reviews. I’m a little nervous about the price however. What kind of amenities does it have and would anyone recommend it? If not what are some other good gyms in the Dupont/Logan Circle area?

Go check it out and see if its worth it. They usually do a 3/5/7 day trial.

Vida was never worth it for me, but thats a decision only you can make.

Vida is not worth the monthly fee for me either. They just can't seem to keep instructors who appreciate their members. Those who have left in recent months were phenomenal. Now it's hit or miss.

I didn’t find it to be worth the price and didn’t love the vibe but I have friends that absolutely love it there. It really depends on who you are and what you are looking for.

I go there and enjoy it! I recommend scheduling their free visit, it was what helped me ultimately decide. They are currently remodeling, but the actual gym area is essentially untouched and it's mostly only the administration area that's under construction.

The gym itself is really clean and when I visit around 10AM-2PM everything I want to use is typically available with space to spare. Not sure how it is around peak times, I'm currently WFH and try to avoid the 5PM crowd. The crowd is mostly men, and I've had no issues with people being creepy or having poor gym etiquette. The classes have also had great atmospheres, and I haven't felt awkward even when being terrible at Zumba. Easy to schedule your position using the app, and most classes are free with membership.

That said it's definitely on the pricier side and stuff like the juice bar, apparel, and personal training are all similarly expensive. I don't use any of that cause of how crazy the membership already is. You really are paying for the "status" of going to VIDA, and if all you want to do is work out there are better priced places I'm sure. You do get access to all locations and U street is the nicest, but be aware you don't get access to the rooftop pool unless you pay even more $$$.

I like the one on U street, bar, rooftop pool, sweatbox class is amazing, clean etc. i don’t care for a lot of their other group classes but they have tons available.

To be fair, you won’t find much cheaper in that area. The balance is more for heavy lifters and not class-focused.
