Does anyone know if the Meridian Hills cascade is operating again or worth going to the park around it? I heard it was under construction (or that general area was) not too long ago

The lower half of the park is set to reopen sometime in November, but the water will not be back on. That is TBD.

The fountain area is still under construction. The park, especially the raised section around and behind the Joan of Arc statue, is very nice. I was there on Saturday and Sunday and there were a lot of folks with their dogs walking around and playing, and a lot of people reading and such.

I've observed crews working on the park as recently as last week, in the fountain area.

I don't think we'll see the fountain running for a few more years. There's a rehab project in the lower level that's supposed to be done in December, but the fountain isn't in scope of the project.

Overall the park is nice to visit and stroll around!
