Metro is OBSESSED with saving any time. We have been battling with them about closing 7th Street between Penn and Mass. Metro wants to save 1 minute off bus rides.

I mean a dedicated bus lane on 7th between Penn and Mass would save more than one minute. Also, it’s about incremental changes that prioritize public transit and pedestrians over cars.

Wouldn't it be DDOT that does reserved bus lanes? WMATA doesn't own any public roads.
