Search Google Maps for Woodley Park-Zoo/Adams Morgan Metro. There are 400 photos posted by the public. As well as Street View image sequences dating from 2011. (The month may change depending on the camera location.)

thank you! That was my first try. I've redone my search every few months for the past couple of years. I wish I'd thought to reddit sooner. I know this is such a long shot but totally worth trying.
