Although it was busy as hell, and I wasn’t even supposed to get off here, I got off at Metro Center and it didn’t disappoint! Was heading from Gallery Place-Chinatown to Dupont Circle and got off here 😂

Mistakes were made, but sometimes mistakes are beautiful! Sad to be back home in my boring Midwest city lol.

It was very randomly not busy at this particular moment, but as soon as it comes time for a train to be making its way in the people flock from the train and to the train lol

I wish we had more multi level stations like this. I love the energy of so many trains coming and going all around. Despite living in the area my whole life I sometimes just stand and watch them from above.

Sometimes it takes posts like these for me to appreciate living in this city. Stopping at Metro Center is nearly a weekly event for me so I just blow through the station and don't appreciate it for what it's worth. Great photo OP! And from someone who used to live in a Midwest city, I hear you.

Fun fact: like may other curved arch ceilings, you can hear what other people are saying on the other side of the tracks if you stand in the right spot to catch the echo
