Death Grips at the Anthem in August.
Once a year the embassies have an open house-I think in May- and it’s pretty fun.
I'm going to get laughed off this /r but sitting in the end zone for a Defenders game is the most fun you can have in this city for $25. Just silly, cheap, most unironic fun
Dan’s Cafe
WHY did I buy tickets in Philly…
One day I’m going to comment “Dan’s Cafe” on a DC Reddit post. I will truly belong then. Guess I should actually go to Dans Cafe one of these days…
I know my bro and I are seeing them in Seattle in May.
nah its mid at best
Oyster riot
We weren't on the original tour schedule.
Feed the snake!
National book festival is great. Authors of all types and celebrities, free
I went to the home opener and it was nuts. I didn't sit in GA section, but found myself looking over at the beersnake and lemon throwing about as much as I watched the game. It was really funny. Described it as "bonkers" to my friends as a selling point.

How far out of state?
TBH unless you're really into politics and want to attend a specific rally, inauguration, announcement, etc, we don't have a lot of unique events worth travelling for. The cherry blossoms are nice, of course, and there are some events (Art All Night, the Christmas markets, assorted Halloween stuff) that are really fun, but most cities have their own equivalents of those.
