Does anyone know what's going on? It doesn't sound like the normal sirens you might hear coming from the firehouse either - at first I figured it was them just leaving for an emergency, but I think it's police too
People FLY down here and combine that with the giant DC uturn against the light I've seen many near misses and collisions.
People drive like absolute maniacs on conn.
People treat Connecticut Ave like a highway. Can't wait for the redevelopment of it.

Three car accident. Looks like someone was trying to make a U turn art the zoo intersection, which is sooo common there. A few were transported via ambulances. Hoping everyone is okay.
That Uturn happens during every red light...I see it constantly there. Even cops pulling that shit heading North so they can get some starbucks. It's truly horrifying in the summer when the ubers pull that uturn during a red light when the crosswalk is FULL of pedestrians.
Any U turn on CT is unacceptable. Basically all the streets off Connecticut are square blocks. Go around the block instead of risking yourself, pedestrians and blocking traffic.
They were redirecting traffic back by Porter... Must have been a pretty significant crash!
I just went to go check it out (morbid curiosity, I know that might be insensitive) thankfully it looks like the injured are off the scene but there's so many police there still.

Exactly. Some how this crash supports arguments against bike lanes and for right turns on red, I’m just not smart enough to see it.
Was wondering the same thing. Connecticut is close from Lillies up past the zoo. Must be a bad accident to have it closed off. Hope everyone is ok…
