My friend bought NIO 2 years ago at 44$. He and his brother put almost 50K each into NIO. They tried to convince me, and I tried NIO for some time but then got out.

2 years later, I am still ready to buy TSLA @180, but NIO @15 is scary.

But again, it's not about what I think, and in 2023, inversing me has made given better returns. So, let's go Calls on NIO!

$44 means valuation of around 80 billion. NIO wasn't that big back then. Now it's still not undervalued but it could run if some factors play out nicely. Next week will show with January deliveries and rate hiking.

Market will tell us next week if it's over or undervalued, I can't tell honestly, way too many unknowns since I'm neither living in China nor speak their cryptic language.
