thank you for wishes. Turkey is now on level 4 alarm which means need national and international support. i haven't seen level 4 alarm since Golcuk (Istanbul) earthquake in 1999.

Oh my, I have been warning people against an earthquake going to happen in Turkey for the last 10 years. The only positive thing is that the epicenter was much further away from Istanbul than I anticipated.

The main problem they face is a large amount of buildings have been developed by corrupt developers who skip out on metal reinforcements inside the cement. The buildings don't stand a chance against earthquakes of this magnitude :(

governments have not learned their lesson since 1999 Golcuk earthquake and didn't care of these fraudulent contractors. Some of contractors got jailed for life but some of them continued to build buildings...
