Hi guys, since the covid era, I did not have the chance to travel to your beautiful state for my annual snowboarding trip.... I'm planning to visit Vermont in three weeks so I want to know how is the snow conditions in the Jay Peak area? Or elsewhere. Here near Québec city, I would say that it is not the best year but I had a couple of Nice evenings in Mont Saint Anne and my splitboard spots are just ok (need a couple of inchs more). I pray for the big powder. Thank you.

Went riding Jay Peak yesterday. Had about 5" of sticky powder that was shaved off the top half of the mountain by noon. The woods were pretty good in places. Lower half had decent trail riding but the snow was pretty slow. So hopefully it gets a bit colder before the storms this week

It has been a really weak winter, but it seems like mother nature might be trying to catch up

It's pretty good right now, and will be even better after this week. Definitely worth the visit. Have you been to Tremblant this year? I'm planning to go up second week of Feb and I'm hearing mixed things about conditions.

Yes that's exactly what I was told: wind blown ice @ Tremblant. But at least good coverage. I haven't been in two years, but the last time I was there it was phenomenal for snowboarding. I'd like to try Le Massif this year, too.

I went to Tremblant last week and the north side was pretty decent. Vermont was having a garbage season until the day before yesterday, with this snow coming through this week I think it will be good to go. BTW, that was my first time at Tremblant and I had a total blast.
