Coming up next weekend (27th-30th) with my family, 8 adults and 3 kids. So looking for some advice on local slopes not too far away. Something suitable for light skiing too, my brother in laws and I are going to Stowe but my wife said she may want to do a run or two down a bunny hill and I can’t justify $170 for a whole day at Stowe for 2 runs down a bunny hill.

I realize snow is scarce right now… we haven’t had any stay long in Connecticut 😂 so taking all suggestions with a grain of salt as there may be no natural snow.

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Not in Plainfield but Cochran's in Richmond isn't too far from Stowe and is a super affordable family run hill thats awesome for kids and adults who are learning.

Yes. Clay hill.

Right past Goddard on the right (headed towards Montpelier) as soon as you hit the flats before the hardware store.

If I didn’t already have the epic pass paid for I definitely would. I just checked their trails and they look awesome. I’m going to keep it in mind as a good reasonable spot next time!

Ditto on the Clay Hill recommendation. Pretty bare now though.

Great sled hill in St Albans, free and fun. About an hour from Stowe I think.

Welcome.
Please take your wife to Stowe. We need the sales, rooms and meals taxes!
Thank you.
