Next month, I’ll be in Ludlow for a week on a ski trip! Just thought I’d reach out for any recommendations of breweries/ sports bars/ restaurants to check out while in the area. Thanks!

DJ's. Great bar, excellent food.
If you're feeling like pizza Ludlow Village Pizza is my favorite although I will say a friend stopped in there back in the fall and wasn't that impressed. I haven't been since 2019 so can't say.
The Downtown Grocery
As you’re driving through town you’ll see a lot of different restaurants.
My favorite has always been Mr Darcy’s. Their parmesan truffle fries are to die for. I haven’t been since they changed ownership, though, so I can’t say if it’s still the same but they have great food and a good atmosphere.
Killarney Pub in Ludlow is great
Ludlow Village has the best meat lovers I've ever had out of all the generic "village pizza" type places in the area.
Tacos Tacos is great, cheap tacos and burritos.
Gamebird. Shortstaffed but awesome. American Pie is my favorite pizza in VT.
Maybe I'm biased but Ludlow Village Pizza has always been more than just a generic pizza joint to me. Back when the Katsanos' used to own it, it was best. Their son is still making pizza over in NH.
The Copper Fox in Springfield
Smokin' Bowls (a food truck) has opened a new full restaurant location at 2588 Route 103 in Proctorsville, VT, open for lunch and dinner. No liquor license yet, but that is in the works. Check out their facebook page for more details.
Off the Rail serves great pizza and local Mt Holly Beer on tap.
802 Brew in downtown has beers on tap. Haven't been there myself yet.

Head's up: if a place takes reservations, make one as soon as you can.
These are some nicer restaurants with more interesting food, but you need to make a reservation now (not kidding):
Harry's phone reservations only. Call and leave a voicemail for Deb.
The Homestyle Hostel (reservations via Resy)
