The picture looks worse than it was. He has very red pads, they were cold but there wasn’t any ice so nothing really dug in. We have boots for the icy crusty days. But he hates them, he won’t run, he doesn’t have the grip.

Thank you! Good question, we don’t know, he’s a rescue too from Texas. We got him about 6 years ago after his litter was found as strays. He’s kinda a mishmash of parts, long legs, boxy torso, lab face. He’s our purebred mutt.
