Yes! Come out west so the kids can enjoy our persistent weak layer and stand in 5 hour lift lines

Well out east we have grass. And 5 hour lift lines.

Flying into a way busier airport, renting a car, sitting on I-70 for four hours to pay for parking or do a long walk with kids and equipment (or wait in line to rent) sounds way more miserable than going to a nice, small VT resort like Bolton or Smugg's. Even Stowe the only traffic is the last 5-6 miles on busy days and with two parents and two kids it's free parking even with the changes there. Obviously there are other western resorts outside of the greater Denver area (not even sure they qualify as Greater Denver haha, 1.5 hours on I-70 with clear roads and no traffic), but most of them are equally far from the airport and have similar traffic/transportation problems.

I bring my kids to Smugglers Notch, they have decent rates. Morse Mountain is build for kid skiers and they have a kid zone off the mountain to play in and eat.

Smuggs is definitely a great place to go with young kids.

Smuggs is a great choice. Mad River Glen is also an excellent choice. They have a single base area which is great with kids.

If they are already skier’s probably jay (for the water park) or Bolton (for affordability) if learning to ski definitively Cochran’s, incredibly cheap rentals, the place is basically built for beginners

Cochrans is a great ski area. One of my favorite establishments in the state. Its not the type of place you fly across the country to go to. Especially if you know how to ski already.
Khanover7 t1_j0o9p93 wrote
Bolton, all visitors should go to Bolton or Stowe. There are no other mountains in the state. Have fun!

I'd say bolton. Or jay depends on how much cash you have.

Bolton for beginners and kids. Economical and off the radar of tourists.
