Looking for family friendly campground recommendations for a long weekend as a group of friends are looking to get together this summer. Willing to go to New Hampshire or Maine too.

Ive been all over Vermont my entire life just never stayed at a campground. Several little kids with us, so more resort style is preferable

KOA Queechee.
Fishing, pool, bike rentals, and hay rides.
Or take a ride to the gorge, then baby animals at Billings farm.

Vermont has some of the best state park campgrounds in New England. If you can get a water site with a lean-to at a Vermont state park, you'll do well. Stillwater is my favorite so far, but haven't tried them all yet. Love the loon calls at night.

I think you would get more responses if you could narrow it down to your favorite things to do, where you’ve been in the past, a region of the state. Help us by narrowing it down somehow or are you just asking a thousand people to all name their favorite?
