Im sure the endorsement has been paid for via donation to Trumps election campaign. That and Malloy is going to need to show his support in 2024. Everything is calculated.

If it nets him a couple extra dollars then who cares if he takes the L. Malloy will lose bc republicans won’t win a VT senate seat, but he does know wealthy (R) VTers who could potentially give $$ to Trump over Desantis. It’s not about winning it’s about planting money trees, he’s doing this across the country.

If what you're saying is true, then it's a function of whatever "team" is operating to plant these money trees for Trump. I doubt that the man himself has the foresight to think this far down the road.

One area where I can't compete with Trump is that I'm not directly responsible for a bungled and negligent national response to COVID, such that hundreds of thousands of Americans are dead that shouldn't be. I've gotta give him that. 👍
