Prices will drop once there is more competition. Would think the quality should be there, but I don’t know the rules with crossover from medical. I’m curious to see how the market goes, combo homegrow and then not selling edibles (yet?) I would think lowers the potential

If you're a fan of hash oil or vape carts, there will never exist a quality product until the law is amended. VT law dictates a THC cap of 60%, which leaves no room for vape carts or live resin. Purposefully inferior (i.e. diluted) products are coming to the VT concentrates market, which sucks hard because black market concentrates around here are already substandard.
Edit: I was wrong about vape carts

Completely forgot about that stupid rule as well.

I'm completely new to this whole world, but if there's a THC cap of 60% how is Ceres in Burlington selling disposables and carts marked as 80+%? https://ceresvt.com/?dtche%5Bproduct%5D=o-pen-daily-strain-cartridge-master-kush

That's a great question. Looks like I was wrong about carts. I assumed the hash being capped meant carts too.

I would vehemently argue that the black market concentrates are not substandard everywhere in this state :)

I like what Maine does. Keep prices where they are but offer 50% off for medical card holders. I don’t mind paying more if its helping someone out medically.
Maybe offer 25% discount to residents as they are likely ones to buy off black market. Tourists pay full price.
