TDS or Starlink. You get to choose between craptastic fiber or the minimum milliseconds delay that comes with all satellite connectivity.

Average of 34ms. I get folks hate Elon but facts are facts.

Seriously. My husband won't consider Starlink (or a Tesla, even though we do have Tesla solar and batteries) since Elon's been putting his personality out there. I think he's using his Occupy Mars t-shirts for paint tags!

550km (starlink’s lowest altitude at perigee) is 0.00183 light seconds which is the absolute limit light (and radio) can travel in one second in a vacuum. Add in processing, heavy cloud cover, additional transmission, it not being in a vacuum, etc… etc… and there you go. Physics doesn’t hate anyone, even Musk.

I agree with the other guy, ping hovers around 35-45 ms and keeps getting more and more stable. Don't know what you're going on about. Obviously you've never tested Starlink.

Old school geosync satellite internet is 42,000km up. The difference is clear.

We currently have TDS at the house up there, and it’s terrible. They can’t meet the speeds my IT department requires for remote work
