And you somehow know he's driving impaired. Mmm hmm. Temporary incident number is that even a thing? They gave you this number but yet not responding. Something stinks. Defunding comments NO comments for 8 years until today lol sure thing Jan...

They give you temporary case number online when you file a report but no in person officer has responded to the event, what would be the reason for me to make this up?

Online?? Nice try. This is suspect as hell. Sketchball acct that posted this in r/burlington as well.

I 100% filed a police report online when I got into a car accident. The police themselves told me to file online 🙄

Small fender bender sure no major injury sure but honestly tell me if someone broke into your car moments ago and took your wallet id's keys etc you would just leave that info online? She supposedly ran into work for a sec and this just happened. That's a crime in progress not for an online complaint that could take days to see. For all we know these photos are from some other state and she is stalking this dude.

Filing online wouldn’t be my first choice, but it sounds like it wasn’t hers, either. She called the police and they told her to file online. They have done the same to two of my friends who had their homes broken into as well. I’m not saying her claim is accurate, but filing online is def what they tell you to do now

Dude the BPD website clearly states not to do so "Theft (NOT from a house, apartment, or business by an intruder)". Nor is it for in progress crimes. Why you simping?

I’m relaying my experience.
The car theft in the OP wouldn’t be considered an in-progress crime either way.

Huh? Try calling Burlington police and the promt says for any theft to file online I also fine in person to poly e but they didn’t have any officer to talk to in person. Go to Kinney on Shelburne rd and ask if they guy was there, I have no reason to make this up- you are delusional

You couldn't reach a person in the largest city PD in the state ok sure. Around 5pm no less

There was a dude in my back lot with a weapon that was actively breaking into cars and the cops told me to put in a police report online.

Guy with what looks like weapon roaming around and they tell you to file online. Unbelievable.
