Even worse was when they started adding powers. Like, this one time Superman flew really fast, around the planet, counterclockwise (of course) to go back in time. I mean it's one of my earliest memories: "are you fucking kidding me?"

He once sneezed a universe into existence. Considering when he started he couldn't fly, but "leap over buildings in a single bound", that's quite the power up
