That so amazing!

We should all get together on that amazing day and celebrate the amazing fact, as it is amazing.

I'm putting it in my calendar now!

Amazing!

28/8/888 and 2/2/2222 for even numbers if my math is correct.

We should all get together for cake or something then.

Edit: Wait no, I have something that day and I've already moved it twice.

So strange that there will always be an even digit throughout the 2000's

I didn't know we had 19 months.

Any year in the 2000s ending in an even number would have had a bunch of all even dates. So would the 2020s, 2040s etc.

There's no odd counterpart to zero which is why I'm guessing dates with all odd numbers are more rare. Though once you get to 3111 you'll have a bunch.

You learned 2’s are even numbers today?

Is zero an even number?

Umm except you are missing zeroes. 01/01/3111 is not all odds.

Its the last digit that determines if the number is even or odd, so 3001, 3003, 3005, would be odd numbers, while 3002, 3004, 3006 are even.

100 is an even number, even though it has a 1 in it for example.

Yes.

It passes any and all tests for being even. It is a multiple of 2 (0 = 0×2). It is one less than an odd number. Even × even = even. Even × odd = even. Etc etc.

More recently we had 22:22:22 22/12/2022 and the time and date wont consist only of 0s 1s and 2s again until 00:00:00 01/01/2100

XyloArch t1_j263g4m wrote

Itd have to be 11/11/3111 to avoid pesky zeroes

Only part of this that is neat to me is I met my wife a few days later that November; on Thanksgiving Day.

So I guess 2/2/2000 was the first day since 8/28/888 where all the numbers were even?

Seantommy t1_j27alje wrote

I'm sorry, is the thing you learned today that the number 2 is even?

You're still wrong because the original post says "first date where all digits are odd", not "first date where any digit is odd". Just because it has a single 3 doesn't mean the rest of the date doesn't contain any even numbers.

If it was the latter... We'd never go more than 2 days without hitting another date containing an odd digit.

ive been seeing 311 everyday for about 20 years. Im gunna count this as todays. March 11 had the Fukushima Tsunami and the official start of the pandemic, and also the day the first case of the spanish flu was detected. Also the day that China got rid of term limits for their leader. i have my tinfoil hat ready.

I get that but still, 0 is not an odd or even number and why are we judging this by how a computer records it? I don’t write dates with 0’s and I don’t know anyone who does.
